Corn, Beer, Cheddar: Chowder

Chowder. In the Pacific Northwest it's hard to escape. Of course, there is the ubiquitous "clam" variety, which one day we'll bring to you... But for now, we're working with that crop, so entangled with my childhood, Corn. I mentioned my fond memories of corn in our Corn and Linguine recipe earlier this summer. For some reason, I adore the stuff. It's sweet like candy and plays well with so many interesting flavors.

If you're feeling frisky and want a little more to this recipe, try using some smoked tempeh, bacon or sausage with this one. You'll be blown away at how well the huge savory flavors work with the sharp cheddar, hoppy beer and sweet corn!

Cheers!
